Well, I hate to say it, but the Bleg has stalled and a lot of that is my fault because I haven’t been pushing it much the last couple of weeks. Of course, that’s because I’ve also not posted much as things got more than a little busy. I’m trying to fix the lack of posting, and hope to get a number of posts up. I want to go back and do another post on water in emergencies as one of the priests at the conference is big on preparedness as he and his family live in a major earthquake zone. He made some very good points to my priest that I hope he takes to heart.
I am way short of the funds to pay for the seminary courses, so anything helps. Since I am doing this part-time and remote, there really are no financial aid options. Barring someone offering me a scholarship or such, it’s on me and it is not inexpensive. I also anticipate the need to buy some additional books, and I need to build a new bookcase as it is.
A new expense is that I need to go back to my vocal coach and also find someone who can teach me Byzantine chanting. Not major expenses, but also not in the budget.
So, any help is appreciated. As much as I want to go on more pilgrimages, school comes first.
