On the mend, but still not fully back. However, I do have three good reads for your consideration.
First up is The Land That Forgot About Wolves. Second is You say You Want A Revolution. Third up is the launch of Sarah’s latest book. Two solid food-for-thoughts and a fun series to go with it (dessert?). Enjoy.
Getting hit by lightning is not fun! If you would like to help me in my recovery efforts, feel free to hit the fundraiser at A New Life on GiveSendGo, use the options in the Tip Jar in the upper right, or drop me a line to discuss other methods. If you want to know some of what it is going for, read here. There is also the Amazon Wish List in the Bard’s Jar. It is thanks to your gifts and prayers that I am still going. Thank you.
The first two reads are spot on, thanks. I still need to get Sarah’s book.
So do I! Funds have been tight, but need to make that happen. May have some other interesting links coming up, and thanks for your Saint postings!
So life imitates fairy tale along the Colorado Front range, what with the partisan re-introduction of the Timber Wolf.
🙂 I have mixed emotions and thoughts on how the wolf reintroduction was done. Up in Yellowstone, it did a LOT of good. Many things that were being blamed on climate change, acid rain, and other fantasies turned out to be overgrazing/over-population of wild herbivores and various varmints. Once the latter two populations came down in response to the wolves, the recovery was amazing. So was the dramatic improvement in the health of the various herds. What worked one place, however, does not necessarily work elsewhere. Nor was the reintroduction done well outside of that area (being polite). So much so, I like the idea of re-introducing wolves and other predators into the lands around government agencies/centers, as it would thin the bureaucratic herds and dramatically improve the health of those that survive. 🙂
